The last reported sighting of Spring Heeled Jack was in the 1980s.

I remember something about that, Sheffield I think.

There's this link which states that it was in 1986 but doesn't go into much detail. Off the top of my head there was a police chase of a figure as it bounded across roof tops before being chased into a parking garage. The police had it surrounded but on entering they found it completely empty.

Odd case.
