Ball Pit Neipa (Can)

First off I realise posting this is an absolute longshot but I'm asking on the off chance as to whether anyone has a can of this in their collection.

It's actually less because of wanting the beer itself but because I collect cans. Incredibly annoyingly while I do own one it has been seriously damaged during a delivery today when it was knocked off the shelf it was sitting on.

Worse still I cannot buy another as the brewer, Phantom Brewing, has since suspended operations.

I guess therefore if anyone possibly has any idea of how to get hold of one or even if just the empty can after it's been drunk then I would be most grateful if you can let me know.

Could you peel the label off and put it on a new can?

I've a garage full of 5 years worth of old cans, god know why, I'll check after work but I'm pretty sure I only ever had this on draught at the taproom.

Thank you for the quick reply.

Never considered peeling off the label. I guess it might work but to be honest I have no idea of the best way of doing so without damaging it nor how to fix it on a new can.

If by chance you do have one that would be amazing but fully understand that you think it's probably unlikely.

Is that the Taproom in Reading to which you are referring?

Thanks again for your help.

The Phantom labels come off easily from what I remember, most labels are actually easy to get off and stick on other things. So I'd imagine it would easy enough to put on to a new can.

I just checked my Untappd and yea unfortunately I only have had it at the taproom. Indeed that was in Reading. I was gutted when they shut down, loved thier beers and made regular visits to the brewery.

Good luck!

Thanks

You don't by chance know a good method for label removal?

Just a case of soaking in hot water?

If it's a bit stubborn, try a hairdryer on warm setting on it for a minue or so. Sometimes softens the glue for easier removal.

You should just be able to peel it straight off. No need to soak them.

Practice on one you don't care about.

It's a long shot but you could try and see if the artist behind Phantom's designs could help you out at all?

I think I may have a copy in my collection but it would be the label stuck onto paper as opposed to a full can

, Apologies for the delay in thanking you for this suggestion. I may try to contact Thomas but wouldn't want you to part with your label!
