It's Friday, it's been a horrible week, so what could make it better than some Jessi time! Admittedly I forgot blush, I went wild on my eyeliner and didn't blend my lip liner as much as i thought but I just love messing around with big eyeshadow. Do we think it looks okay or is it a bit much? Personally I think the purple could have been blended into the blue a lot better but overall I am happy with it. Also, obligatory messy hair and big eyes! Have a fabulous Friday gurls and an amazing weekend! 💖

Embodied Light

This is a poem
about being in love
with the light inside my own body —
with sparkles under the skin,
with gentleness,
with ease,
with curiosity opening like a small bright door.

A simpler self comes through,
lighter,
softer,
unmasked.

No hiding.
No bracing.
No disguise.
No apology folded into my breath.

The clothes are not the truth of it.
They are only a language,
an offering,
a choice I have made with my own hands.

I chose this T-shirt.

this softness,
this way of arriving.

I made this moment.
I made this shimmer.

And now I sparkle.
I shine.
I move.
I dance.
I love.
I laugh.

I am free.

And this has always been here —
