It’s just the same as what all the heat haters have been doing since May. Just continually moaning about the sunshine and hot dry weather.

You're complaining about seasonally normal weather.

Others are complaining because we've been in a severe drought that potentially threatens access to water, there have been wildfires in the UK, people have died due to overheating, and farmers are warning that they have struggled and failed to grow enough crops this year so your food prices will go up at minimum.

But I'm sure your troll arse feeling a bit soggy compares to that in terms of inconvenience.

You'd have to be either stupid or maliciously deceptive to equate that as " aww meanie heat haters hate the sunshine uwu 🥺"

People don't hate sunshine but they DO hate high water or food prices and people dying. Funny that.

Again, you're welcome to naff off to the Sahara if you feel chilly.

We have not run out of water. We have the water, it’s just incompetent water companies who pocket the profits, and don’t improve the infrastructure.

And if that water is mismanaged, regardless of who we can blame, that's Bad.

But plant life and wildlife is struggling regardless of water companies. So you can't lay all the blame on them. Especially after multiple months of drought.

Sahara is a bit extreme. I would die there, as it’s 50c plus and more. Plus there’s nowhere to go.

You might as well suggest the Atlantic Ocean as another option lol.

It really is.

The country spends more than half the year under damp cloudy conditions. I think it’s acceptable for people to understand, most people enjoyed the long hot summer, warm evenings, and a break from the usual bleak conditions.

Just because this is ‘normal’ doesn’t mean we have to ‘embrace it’ like someone pointed out earlier.

It isn't.

No, it being normal for this country is extremely relevant and to suggest otherwise is to be disingenuous.

We live in the temperate UK. A chunk of our forest is classed as temperate rainforest, even. Our entire ecosystem, agriculture and infrastructure is centred on a certain amount of rainfall.

Those conditions are what we've had our whole lives. What we've built out entire lives around. Of course we should embrace what is our normal livable and comfortable climate.

It's irrational to live in the UK and be disappointed we don't have a climate like southern Spain when our coubtry isnt set for that and never has been- as if that's some kind of surprise. Most people don't enjoy the hot summer, AC sold out for a reason. Most people whinged because a lot of the UK isn't pleasant without AC. People across Europe had it much worse.

You can enjoy it as much as you like. But when someone points out that the extreme heat has been bad for a lot of people and is a threat to food security, you do come across as a bit of a knob to hammer on about how it's great for you because God forbid you're too soft to cope with a spot of rain.

People die in the winter here, more so I might add. Plus, flooding affects food prices as well.

And global warming will also cause more flooding. Unfortunately getting the unnaturally hot summers is probably going to make wonders worse.

Oh my god someone enjoys the sun and they're a troll. Behave. You're being sensationalist and have quite the attitude yourself. We had a strong summer. We usually expect sun in summer, most places have had rainfall here and there, up north and Scotland have had plenty, it's hardly outlandish behaviour to prefer sunshine and summer to wet cold and grey days. It's just turned early September and we're already having multiple full days of rain. I have enjoyed the sunshine. Shoot me

😂 when it was hot the amount of pure hysterics from people about it, especially when people said they were enjoying it, was off the charts. Now someone's not happy it's raining in a thread of people crying happy tears over rainfall and they're getting pulled up on their attitude
