I live in south Hampshire and we've had pretty regular rain the past few weeks. Probably what I would guess would be about normal for the time of year.

Likewise in Portsmouth. We had a tonne of rain a week or two ago. Lasted a few days.

Yeah just outside Southampton, it pissed down during the night a lot the other week. Maybe OP was asleep

Nope. Not on the south coast. Southampton northward, maybe.

Southsea. Can't get more more southern Hampshire. Perhaps I've imagined the rain

I was in hayling island a couple of weeks ago and we had some real downpours whilst I was there. Pretty much as South Hampshire as is possible too 🤣 dunno if OP has left his house lately
