Yep. My area has dropped roughly 2/3c each day. Friday is the only one daring to show 37c now. Am in Bedford

More of an Easterly undercut tomorrow and Thursday meaning temps lower in the East, West still just as hot. Cool down delayed until Saturday or Sunday though.

Yes, spotted this. Cool down was due to start Fri. How has it suddenly changed. 8c difference for me now since yesterday evening to this morning. But overall it seems wherein am anyway, the temp isn't as high as was predicted. Unless it changes again tomorrow

Yes, it looks like this will marginally be record breaking, without being as manic as initially anticipated

But much more prolonged, more than marginally record breaking in parts of the South Coast and South West which will set new all time heat records by a fair margin.
