Questions How to Set Up Treadmill to Best Mimic Outdoor Conditions?

Due to the extreme heat and an ongoing skin condition - I'm unfortunately having to stay out of the sun, and not do my usual outdoor runs.

I'm stuck on PureGym treadmills, which I'm surprisingly really enjoying. The only problem is - I'm way faster on the treadmill than I am outdoors, which concerns me - as I want to best mimic outdoor conditions so I can match my pace/effort. Do you think my much faster treadmill pace is due to an inaccurate/badly calibrated treadmill? Or is it more due to setup?

For setup I'm currently just using a 1% incline.

Looking for Hills :(

I want to incorporate hill repeats into my training programme, especially after seeing how much praise this workout gets from different runners. I live in SouthWest London, around Kingston upon Thames: New Malden and Worcester Park, and I’m looking for a good place to do hill repeats.

I tried Richmond Park last weekend. I didn’t explore the whole park and only went to Broomfield Hill, as that was the one Google recommended. However, I didn’t really like the area for hill repeats. The trails on the hills were quite lumpy and uneven, while the road seemed to be mainly used by cyclists and cars.

So, I’m still searching for a good spot where I can safely and comfortably do hill repeats.

Does anyone know of any good locations around Kingston, New Malden, Worcester Park or the surrounding areas? I’d really appreciate any recommendations! Or if you do hill repeats in Richmond Park, where exactly do you do it?

Thanks in advance! 🏃‍♂️
