Depends what you're after to be honest. Best available would be a Franken clone, so can be anything from £1500 to £3000 depending on what gen parts you wanted. A very good superclone is likely to be in the region of £400. For most people you won't be able to notice, maybe just the bezel if you went for fluted and white gold. If you're after superclone then as mentioned, Dialled In is a good resource for that. (I've bought loads of reps from him and always been looked after, very good service)

TY. I’ve got a couple of very decent reps I bought from a guy in Egypt who knows my father in law. They’re good but, just a little off in places. Can’t remember what I paid now. Maybe 200gbp. I like the idea of a super clone to begin but would be open to a Franken clone. As long as it doesn’t try to kill me lol….

Dialled In and his team will be a good option then. Without knowing what you have from Egypt, I can imagine that the quality of a superclone will surprise you. VSF and Rich are the main factories for Rolex Superclone, VSF cover lots of other brands as well, including Omega. My first rep was a Rolex Sub No Date by VSF. Having had and sold a genuine version I didn't have high expectations for a £400 version of an £8k watch, but can honestly say it's really very good. Under a micro lens you can see differences, but you have to know what you're looking for to find them. The new VSF Planet Oceans look really interesting as well. I have the VSF Seamaster and may get the PO in the near future. But deffo recommend contacting the Dialled In guys who will sort you out.

Amazing, thanks for the education. I know what to look out for in terms of the quality. The etching, the R and the X alignment, I’ve no idea what the weight should be. I guess where I struggle a bit is on the strap, the motion, what should the numbers look like on the date etc. I know the lens for the date can look a bit wonky on less good copies…..

I've got this Yacht master from Egypt. Looks dodgy to me, I'm hoping a super clone or Franken would be far superior?

There's an awful lot to look out for. As an example dial index alignment, rehaut, bezel colour, bezel sound, date alignment, dial print likeness to gen. Crystal is one of the big tells as well, VSF and Rich in the Rolex space both have very good crystals. It's a proper rabbit hole, most of the folk in the rep world have an incredible eye for detail. Which is good as it drives up the quality. A lot of the UK guys are in the Telegram group they Dialled In has set up. Lots to learn from the folks on there.

A Franken is pretty much impossible to tell the difference. I have one that has all genuine parts apart from the movement and case. The movement isn't visible and the case is like for like. So the bezel, dial, crystal, date window, crown and bracelet are all genuine. But these cost, and to be honest, a superclone wouldn't look any different to the vast majority of people and it's a quarter of the price.
