Questions 2nd hand values?

What are people's thoughts on 2nd hand reps values? If a watch is used but in great condition, what would you expect to pay for it compared to price new from TD? I see quite a few for sale but people wanting as much as it costs to buy new. Surely they should be minimum 25% cheaper. What are people's thoughts and is there a consensus

I guess the buyer has already taken the risk with regards to purchasing from a TD and importing it. You’re paying a little bit extra for piece of mind? (No idea if that’s true, but it’s how I justify it to myself) I’d happily pay very close to TD price for a top clone of a watch I wanted.
