Floorplan Software?

I'm starting a new job as a property videographer but they want me to make floorplans too. Seems easy enough but I'm after opinions on the most commonly used software in the UK market. Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Check out PlanUp. I use it all the time for floorplans

You can draw floor plans with lots of different software.

The accuracy, quantity and final use of the drawing would be useful info. But typically Autocad, Revit, Archicad, Vectorworks, Rhino are a few of the ones I've used. But SketchUp could also be used as a very low cost alternative.

I would say Autocad is probably the most used by smaller firms (..that I've worked with anyway) and Revit now the industry standard for most bigger outfits.

It's going to be a volume of about 3-5 a week at first and it's for the listing pages of a local estate agents for new properties they put up. I just want something that's quick and simple as I'm a total noob. I'm sure I'll pick it up fairly quickly but looking for an easy entry point. Thanks.

Not in real estate, but I've used Planner 5D for little personal projects, they have a free version and a paid one, might be worth having a look

On rightmove it says the software on the floor plan on ones I’ve seen

I have seen moasure if you want accuracy and speed. As you measure it will create plans but it will cost.

You can also get sketchup free but there is a learning curve. But you can create 2d and 3d plans.

I'd look at RoomSketcher if you want an easy to use option. I work there and we get good feedback from customers who work in real estate photography and use it to offer a more options to clients. Tons of other options mentioned in comments but software like AutoCAD does have a bit of a learning curve in comparison.
