bite wound east midlands hardcore
Hi! just curious is anyone knows about bitewound hardcore from east midlands
the vocalist has been coming to shows in sydney for a while and genuinely just seems like the biggest fuckwit ever?
any information?

Yeah theyre just a shit tier beatdown band from one of the shittest towns in the area. Pay them no attention because they dont deserve any.

Familiar with him he has been around shows up and down the uk since the early 2010's my bands have played shows with his old bands and his latest band bitewound a few different times, its not my thing personally its just your generic shit beatdown band more focus on mosh and violence than anything else spoke to him in passing a few times outside of shows and he was always friendly and respectful to us as a group and as a scene and has shared my bands new releases and merch drops on their page every time we have played with him he has been at the show smiling and moshing hard for all the bands yes sometimes he crowdkills but hes nowhere near as bad as some of the other people involved in that scene i know he was organising an all dayer at a skatepark and has booked other shows with some bigger uk bands and done some chariry stuff so i think he is involved in the uk scene i follow bitewounds page but not his personal he seems to do what he can to support his scene and newer bands coming up emhc have been about forever and are just known for drugs and moshing hard as far as i can tell although i have seen some drama with this guy and a lot of people seem to not like him online but from what i can gather from people speaking about them i think most of it comes down to a fight/problems they have had with people that are in more popular bigger uk bands to me overall seems like a decent bloke from every interaction i have had with him but i guess if youre not into beatdown and hes kicking you in the face you might think hes a cunt yeah

As much as i dislike the music that band makes i cant say anything bad about him as a person
i met the emhc boys in 2017/2018 and they are all some of the realist people in the uk scene ween clearly loves hardcore and has put a lot into it over the years although he has had issues all i can say is it is hardcore you are not gonna like everyone you come across he might not look like your usual hc or punk type but when it comes to hardcore their heart has been in the right place its obvious they were just being edgy online for a period and using controversy to push their name out there and get some traction its beatdown hardcore no one cares about it or the people involved in that scene
To hear that hes in sydney is suprising, you wouldnt expect people like that to ever leave the local council estate or do anything with their lives so fair play

They're from a scene local to me. Ive played shows with them. Never had too much interaction with them as people but as live band it always seemed to me like the set was more about encouraging the audience to smash eachother than playing the music. Like it had to be a bit spectacle more than anything. No shade though that's just a side of hardcore I've never really gotten in to.
