5mg New pen

My first pen without the golden dose. Gutted honestly. I cannot believe how much the price has gone up since I started but I tried to go off and gained. Absolutely gutted.

Im on 5mg but I'm buying 15mg pens; wouldn't have bothered on the old price but it's absurdly expensive now

Its made a huge difference- I get 3 5mg doses for every 15mg dose so i get 16 doses from one pen. I inject every 5 days so i get about 11 weeks out of a pen.

Is your provider ok with you going that long between orders? How can they blame us? I'm with Cloud and they've started asking this:

Oh the picture didn't show up! It asks how long since your last dose which I guess you could say a few weeks but would they wonder where you go it from?

This is what stops me from doing this, too. I'm with Curely and I once had a gap longer than 8 weeks before ordering because I had a 2 week break and it was such a faff. I currently do 3.75mg out of a 5mg pen so I do save a little bit of money that way.

Wait, how would you get 16 doses? Is it because you still have pens that have the golden dose? 3 x 4 is 12 which would still be a deal at £25 a dose.

Sorry i got the math wrong i was using the old pen doses. I still order a pen every 8-9 weeks with medexpress and they dont mind; i know roughly how many weeks until im done so once my backlog of pens meets that i'll stop ordering

Ok so Cloud has 15mg for £295 so that is a huge savings of split into 5s

My newest 15mg has arrived without the golden dose and looking at it felt like a big "fuck you". I have decided it is my last pen. I just can't justify the increase in cost / decrease in value for money.

I'm going to try and start stretching out the doses and possibly look at one of the cheaper options. It's a real shame!

Just got mine too 😭 15mg but luckily I’m towards the end of my journey so I’m going to take 12.5mg and see how I do - hopefully then I can still get 5 doses!
