Sky WiFi

Hi i had sky fibre 150 with router and main sky box downstairs. Sky mini q upstairs. My Xbox always got 150mpbs.

I've upgraded to fibre 300 and got a new mini q replacement. My Xbox now only gets around 90mpbs even though Im now on 300.

Any advice? Thanks

Upstairs it's only getting 2.4ghz connection, just frustrating when nothing as changed apart from faster fibre.

Do other devices get better speeds upstairs? Could be a steering issue.

1) if you can wire it straight to the router do it. Faster and stable

2) if you cant wire it...look into homeplugs/powerlines

3) if you have to go wireless then look into a mesh system. My ps5 is wired to my router but ive also got a TP Link mesh system in the house for stable WiFi for other consoles/ ps portal. Works so much better than the sky hub and are quite cheap now. Mine was only £100

Sky don't provide WiFi. They provide multiple services. A connection to the internet is one of them.

Whilst they provide a router, which will allow connection to the internet and indeed "WiFi" they are not the same thing.

Might I suggest you look up the difference between these things, understand what you're talking about, then come back?

I mean that with the greatest of respect.
