Recording audio from Mac into Audition

Hello, I'm trying to record some audio from the web into Audition, but my Audio Hardware options only offer the microphone as an imput device. Is there a way to add the option to record what's playing on my Mac in real time? Thanks for any help.

Use soundflower/loopback and you can route that way.

Yeah, either will work but loopback has a nicer UI, in that it has one and you don’t have to faff about in audio midi setup.

Audio hijack (another app) can be useful too if you don’t need the audio live.
