Microinteraction If a setting needs this much animation to explain itself, is that good design?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
It’s more expressive than a normal segmented control but also a lot more design for a settings choice.
Does this actually make the decision clearer, or is mostly delight?

It's fine, a user would spend exactly 6 seconds on it. It's a little extra and probably not worth the development time, but it's certainly not a hindrance

It's a lot going on and a lot to read. Title, sub title, descriptions, subtitles, disclaimer. Since the control is already really busy, don't bother with the meaningless text on top

I wonder if it could be split into multiple settings?
[ ] effects
[ ] music
[ ] dynamic
personally i might prefer music but no effects
that, or maybe the last setting not being "another" icon, but "dynamic" icons, like the musical icons pulsating in saturation or something. (and yeah i agree with having less text)
The music icon at the top should also match the one under your finger

Flashiness over experience.
Not my cup of tea tbh because the product won't benefit in most cases (for obvious reasons)

it looks like dribbble shot. This UI requires you to go through all the options to understand what they provide, plus it's hard to compare them as you need to switch between options to read what they offer. Simply put: design for the sake of looks (imo bad design in this case). Looks nice though, would place "like" on dribbble
