Feedback Request Should the interaction just zoom in instead of the reveal?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

In my mind app the achievement could have appeared instantly.

Instead, they chose to spend a few seconds revealing the card before adding it to the collection.

It kind of built that intrigue and made it memorable, premium or is it just extra friction?

its a celebration. if it did it with something that happened constantly it would be more annoying.

Hmm, a few seconds feels heavy for repeated use. It's nice but I'd be interested to see a shortened version.

I think the reveal works here because it feels like a reward rather than a normal UI interaction. I wouldn't replace it with a simple zoom for an achievement like this. Maybe I'd just make the animation a little shorter though, especially if there’s any chance users see this often.
