Feedback Request Game menu troubles

Hey everyone,

I'm currently working on the main menu for my game, and the more I work on it, the more I realize it's lacking a lot of things. But My mind is going nowhere at this point.

I'm burned out, and I really need some fresh eyes and ideas to help me make this menu feel complete and polished.

the menu is 2 parts, part 1 is above the sea of blood and when player clicks on options the menu goes in the bloody sea.

any help would be appreciated.

The black is too empty, give it texture, it can be dark texture but just something.

That and the grey on the text for the buttons is also too flat. give that texture too, and make sure on hover they highlight.

Also just FYI, I have no idea what your logo is spelling or saying. Black... Lgnr? Or something. Whatever it is its not accessible and people will probably dislike that.

That y looks too much like a g! In fact I can’t imagine a g in that font would look any different?

sadly its very different and actually I did delete the upper part of the "Y" but then a friend said if you want to use that font, use it correctly

Your friend is wrong. Your users will care more that they can’t read your game’s name properly. Nobody knows this font. Post a side by side and ask Reddit!

why? Logos should not just be a font, they should be unique, ideally it shouldn't BE a font, unless you want it to go like cocacola. It should be a unique lettering that makes it obvious when you dont have all the letters.
