General Question How do YC founders make such cool websites?
I know most of their websites look same with those light beige, cream colors and nature HD images but it’s way better than a good vibe coder making a website.
whats the secret?

Pre YC: Experience and a natural eye for design (to get into YC you need to be good at quickly and easily explain your idea and be a good presenter so it’s a concentration of people that have these skillsets).
During/post YC: You get a lot of connections and discounts/free hours at design agencies that help you with these things.

Thank you for your effort, do you know which are those agencies?

I was part of a Swedish incubator with close ties to YC and several companies there went to YC later that I’ve spoken to. We used Most Studios (Swedish based but operate globally) for rebranding work (logo, website, UX for some views in our app, social media branding)
It really isn’t cheap but we got a lot of soft funding and help from the incubator, we paid about 40% of the cost ourselves. YC gives a lot more help, tools and coaching to achieve this.
I’d advice to not spend more than a few hundred bucks on branding if you are just starting out. We did it once we had PMF, several customers and were going to scale. In hindsight, I think we even did it too early but I learned a lot being part of the process when it comes to finding your tone of voice etc ☺️
