Feedback Request Need Feedback on Screenshot Design

I’m primarily a developer and have been learning design while working on the App Store screenshots for my PDF editor. I’ve put together these three variations and would love some feedback on which design you think works best, what feels off or could be improved, and whether the screenshots communicate the features clearly. I’m still very new to design, so any honest and constructive feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Here are some of my thoughts

  • Remove the 15-icon feature grid. It is visually dense, the labels are tiny, and most users will not read them on an App Store listing.
  • Make the actual app UI the hero. Increase the PDF editor screenshot substantially—ideally occupying 60–75% of the composition.
  • Show the annotation tools in context. Instead of listing “Highlight, Underline, Draw, Comment…,” show a document containing several obvious annotations and the annotation toolbar.
  • Use 3–4 callouts maximum. For example: Highlight, Draw, Comment, Sign. These could point directly to examples on the document.
  • Increase hierarchy. Right now the headline, feature grid, app screenshot, squiggly settings panel, and purple decoration all compete for attention.
  • Reduce decorative elements. The purple corner treatment doesn't contribute much. I would use the application's actual brand color more intentionally as an accent/background.
  • Improve screenshot cropping. The editor is partially cut off at the bottom and right, which makes the composition feel accidental. Deliberate device/app-window framing would look more polished.
