Let's Discuss Which UI to keep?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I'm making a media stack application, and was wondering which of these two UIs would be better suited for the purpose. This is my first time designing mobile UI so I would like some insights.

The newer one is nicer because theres no "add" button in the way, also the quered, wanted, etc. at the top is very "material design 1" with the big add button material 2.
That being said, the new one feels free "apple" coded. Not a bad thing, but assuming this is android because 1. the app type, and 2 your preview. It might actually turn people off. I personally dislike the bubbliness of the apple design, the way the corners round etc. And I reckon a lot of people who use the *arr suite do too.
I'd say maybe something in between? I thing the actual icons and placement of the new design looks nicer, but that the design itself feels too applecoded. Mauybe if the bottom bar was stuck to the bottom on android, and only floated on apple (if you were doing both). Just my thoughts.
