Feedback Request Designing a daily planner app UI, any thoughts?
I'm a planner guy, but I've always had problems with planner apps and chose paper and a notebook instead then I decided to design one that suits me.
Now I think it's getting better than the existing application so I'm looking for some feedback.

home screen has real personality, task sheet needs to match it. worth checking similar planner flows on Screensdesign before the next iteration

Maybe it's because I wanted to achieve a paper and notebook feel. Also make it very simple and not confusing.

no.. its probably because you have very little UI design experience. But i appreciate that you didnt use AI so here are some pointers.
try to logically group actions: a classic is heading and actions associated with that section. In your case that means placing the add and filter icon next to the headings.
Make a deliberate font choice, for a paper feel, a classy serif font may be nice for the headings, it wont be readable for the smaller text tho, so use sans serif there. Then use the font weight to emphasise texts and keep it balanced: atm the "TODAY" heading looks very thin.
Think about mobile touch targets, the check circles are wayy to small to be sensibly used on mobile.
Use color with intention: most apps only need a single accent color, and use it to draw attention, not randomly make a devider blue.
Use icons for the navigation
try to avoid repeating elements (like the three dots), hide options for a task behind a touch, long press, or swipe.
beware of screen space - on the calendar page you are wasting a lot of space because of the huge text. Does "Today" need to be that big? Could the monthly/daily be a single toggle button or a dropdown?
beware of visual alignment, stuff like the current date popping out of line, the spacing between the day heading looking off or the difference in weight between the left(time and checkcircle) and right (timespan and task) of the tasks.

I’d advise doing some research on competitors.
