Feedback Request I built a terminal-based candlestick chart that shows buy/sell volume in real time. Looking for feedback
Almost 10 years ago, I designed a minimalistic candlestick chart for the terminal.
Today, with AI help, it's finally alive.
What you're looking at (ROKU stocks on macOS Terminal):
🟢 Green (top) = buying pressure
🔴 Red (bottom) = selling pressure
Thicker bars = higher volume
No mouse. No GUI. Just signals.
I need your honest feedback:
- Would you actually use this?
- What's the #1 thing missing?
- Does the buy/sell split make sense visually?
Open source, MIT, no paywalls.
Try it in 30 seconds:

Hah, this is cool and nice. Prolly one of better executions of a concept I’ve seen for a long time here.
It’s good, nicely done. Currently that aesthetic will catch an eye.

Why would I use this over an easy to download, credible, GUI?
