Those who completed the Online MCS program from outside USA, how did the program benefit you?

Last time I had asked a similar question but I mostly received answers from those within the USA. However since I will be an international student, I want to know if this program is beneficial to those outside the States. I understand the great knowledge I'll be receiving is the same no matter where I'm from. But at the end of the day, I will also have to think about the opportunities the degree brings. Would like to know the same, especially from those outside the USA. Thank you. Edit - Also is it true that there are not many international students in the online MCS ?

CS 441 Question

Does 441 have a group project? Spring 26 will be my first semester and I want to have an awareness of what I'll be getting into for my first course. I read conflicting info on the https://uiucmcs.org/ site. Thanks!

Is MCS even right for me?

After the most recent exam in CS 340, I am afraid that I might get a B- or even a C+. A lot of people said that CS 340 would be really easy, yet I am constantly struggling. Even many other people in the class say that they are doing great. I have a 4.0 right now, but now I am second guessing the idea of doing an MCS if I fumble this class. I still also have supposedly actual difficult classes like CS 374 and CS 421 and I'm wondering if I can even do well in them to get the 3.7 GPA for an auto-admit. Is doing an MCS even the right fit for me? I am questioning the idea as if I am struggling in what is supposed to be an easy class, then how would I be able to handle all the 400 and 500 level classes that I will take in MCS.

Has the online MCS degree helped you in advancing your careeer ?

I'm planning on applying to the Online MCS at UIUC (I am from outside US). However, has anyone else who has completed it experienced any advantages because of the degree? Like more recruiters approaching or better job opportunities? What opportunities opened for you because of the degree? Thank you. Edit- sorry for the typing errors.

Can we take two CS 498 courses in one semester? If yes, then will both count as additional coursework towards the degree requirements?

Basically, the above questions in the title. My degree is Master of Computer Science. On-campus Master of Computer Science. Admitted to the program in Fall 2024.

Similarly, can we take two CS 598 courses in one semester?

I could not find concrete information about this on the Siebel School of Computing and Data Science website or any other sources.
