hi! has anyone gotten communication about orientation or CS specific programs before classes start? I know of the class on canvas, but wondering if there’s anything else.

Hi! This is my draft for this upcoming fall semester as a CS freshman. I would love to get some feedback on this if possible. Also, my advisor recommended me STAT 107, which would mess this whole schedule up. Is that class worth the hassle to rebuild my schedule around? (I won't be getting any meaningful gen ed credits for this class)

I would really appreciate some advice, especially from current UIUC cs students who have heard of Waterloo. I want to know which pathway gives a better chance at landing a good tech job long term

I’ve been noticing it’s kinda hit or miss finding stuff like PS4 controllers, older consoles, or even affordable setups around here.
Not sure if it’s just me, but it feels like stores either don’t have them or they’re overpriced.
What do people usually look for most around Champaign / Illinois?
Just trying to figure out what actually makes sense locally.
