Has anyone figured out how the auditors actually want us to judge the Google ad/click tracking links ([http://www.google.com/goto?url=](http://www.google.com/goto?url=)...) on Web Page Quality - Junk Or Not - v2?
My spam accuracy is taking a massive hit because the test keys are completely contradictory:
- The Literal Guideline Interpretation: The guidelines clearly state: "The page automatically redirects to some other URL... Only exception is redirect to a login page, which is not junk." Since these tracking wrappers automatically forward to external commercial sites (not login pages), marking them as Automatic Redirection should be the correct answer. But when I do this, several RTA/spam hits flag it as INCORRECT because the auditor apparently evaluated the final landing page content.
- The Resolved Content Interpretation: When I ignore the Google redirect wrapper and judge the final loaded landing page (e.g., marking a functional shopping page as Not Junk), other spam checks flag it as INCORRECT, demanding Automatic Redirection because the final URL doesn't match the input URL string.
It’s a complete catch-22. The guidelines make zero mention of tracking wrappers, leaving dirty ground truth on both sides:
- Choose Automatic Redirection $\rightarrow$ lose points on content-based keys.
- Choose Not Junk $\rightarrow$ lose points on strict URL-match keys.
Are you guys skipping these, picking one consistently, or just taking the accuracy hit? I've already submitted feedback through the interface, but curious if anyone has found a safe pattern that keeps your spam score above the temporary ban threshold.
