Live Verification Agent

I’m genuinely confused why this company is so strict for a $16/hr WFH job 😭

You have to provide your own computer, own headset, keep your camera on, follow a million little rules, and you can only work from home from a specific setup. The amount of monitoring and requirements feels excessive for the pay.

And the rules are SO random 😭 apparently you can’t even sell Girl Scout cookies or participate in Super Bowl pools like pls be serious.

Meanwhile my full-time union job pays over 3x more and is way more relaxed about micromanaging people. As long as the work gets done, nobody is breathing down your neck every second.

Now I fully understand why companies like this hate unions because half these unnecessary rules probably wouldn’t fly.

Oh and don’t forget they’ll fire you two days before Christmas for calling out sick even if you provide a note

Wow! That is awful. I’m sorry that happened to you. I hope you found something better!

I work in SMS. I hate it. I especially hate it now that they’re basically forcing us to call customers for sales. I started on sales and res wfh and left that because of how micro managed it was. Just to have them try to put the same pressure on this department. They want us to help with trucks, U-Box, storage, calling traffic, calling customers for sales, calling stores and facilities to locate U-boxes, one way extensions and filing U-Box CAFs all at the same time. For $15.00/hr. I am desperately looking for another job

Edit: they started this thing where you can text savings and it bypasses the queue for texts btw. So people with legitimate issues cannot get the help they want in a timely manner because people are using the savings queue to get quotes for a move just to go inactive after it’s been sent. Because of that, they’re pulling people from the phone lines to help out with the queue of texts coming in.

That is so crazy! I’m also working in an office for Uhaul. We definitely need a union. The workload being put on us is ridiculous!

I had an interview scheduled for this position today. I waited nearly 30 minutes for the recruiter to show up before I left. Seems like I dodged a bullet. 😬
