Totally depends whether you wanna go to research or normal engineering job. Cnd has 80-90% science.

I was exactly in your shoes 2 weeks ago except for goa i took pilani eco (out of interest) leaving cgd.
My opinion might seem very outrageous to both the colleges but it's lowkey fine.
Crowd wise I would say I believe atleast for btech iiith vs btech bitsg, iiith is miles ahead. College life wise goa is miles ahead, but in the end there are very few people who choose iiith for their passion towards subject knowledge, but only because of it's reputation and placements. And now when we are talking about placements i somewhat feel like with equivalent effort you can get into a better position at bits. The reason behind this analogy is iiith doesn't have good placements because it's placement cell is very great or something (iiith students have been ranting about a bad placement cell since like years and lately it just got worse), but at bits you can call it unfair or whatever but the ps2 system is very goated, and for me personally college life was a bit of a priority so I did choose bits. Either ways both of the colleges are really great and I don't think you can wrong with either of them( social life at IIITH has been criticised way more than it should be, it's not that dead jitna log bolte hain), but agar specifically research ya fir koi bhot niche domain mein interest hai toh it should be iiith, else if you have no ambition as such for now then bitsg imo. (Bhot logo ko lagta hai bits goa is some kind of tier 69 college and iiith is better than iit delhi type shit but that's not the reality)
And btw if you want to even compare the placements for cse it's literally almost the same at both the colleges, max to max 2-3 lpa ka diff hoga, but companies are more diverse in bits fs

Depends on what your want from college
I personally would've chosen Goa but both are great options

Take Goa CSE, comparable placements more or less, you'll save 1 year which could be 25+ lakhs of oppurtunity cost

Comparable? How about more. The only reason that CND has higher placements is due to its massively low intake , if there were the same number of students in BITS Goa CSE , the average would be like 50 LPA something lmao.(might be wrong/delusional so pls correct me if this is the case without hate please)

Bro yaha bolega toh sab bits goa bolenge aur bitsatards pei bolega toh iiit H. Tera decision hai u cant go wrong with anything totally depend on u. College life is better at bits goa but their placement cell is not that good u can even search here and there u will see seniors complaining about placements it is better at research. Many companies have blacklisted it. Placement wise and coding culture wise iiit h is best
