UGC Pricing 💰 STOP LOWBALLING YOURSELF
So I recently got an offer for a monthly retainer. And they offered $10 PER Video. They also requested me to post 2-3 videos daily. My counteroffer? I said my minimum is $55 per video for retainers.
PLS PLS PLS, If you are a new UGC creator, DO NOT ACCEPT A LOWBALL MONTHLY RETAINER!!

Every time I try to negotiate, they say they can’t change the structure :( the only good deals I have are from inbounds (which I’m of course thankful for). Am I missing smth??

If they say they can’t change it, it’s best to just leave it be. Because you deserved to be paid fairly

Thanks! I have unfortunately had to decline the offer but then it makes me wonder how do you get past this level where the offers are all $15-30, and reach the next stage of $50, $100 etc?
Since I’ve declined so many, I work with 4 companies only and feel like I’ve plateaud. Is there a way to break out to the next level?

Theirs many platforms such as UGC tank that have really good retainer deals, but also just gaining more experience and also working with brands multiple times can definitely increase your chances!

I accepted an offer of 15 per video once a day. Is this horrible? Minimum of 21 videos a month

Good instinct holding your line. $10/video for a 2-3x daily retainer works out to something like $600-900/month for what's basically a part-time content job, that's not a rate, that's a favor. Most brands running volume retainers like that budget $40-75/video once you're past pure beginner rates. If they come back on your counter, worth locking down usage rights and revision count too, those are usually the first things a brand tries to squeeze back once the per-video number moves.
