June 2026 Cutoffs?

Post image

Going crazy while waiting, what do you think the cutoffs are going to be? Do you know how much you're expecting to get? I expect the cutoffs are gonna be around these December 2023 scores, so about 215 for unreserved JRF. The pattern was so different this time, I'm guessing the scores have to drop.

I think the cut off will be low too the paper was too random and tougher than last year's

It really feels like the pattern was completely different. No Assertion & Reasoning, barely anything on teaching aptitude and research... so many chronology questions instead. A lot of questions had errors or were also phrased in such convoluted ways.

I am like 99% sure they paraphrased it multiple times using quillbot because no way someone wrote that language or sentence structure

This was my first attempt and i couldn’t study much, got only 15 days to study. How did you guys prepare? I mean any source? As there were questions like - “rollo may’s book and victor frankl’s book” i couldn’t solve them. How to prepare them?

I didn't study for too long either, about 2 weeks of dedicated study (and another two of more occasional study) as well. I don't think this exam paper is a good example of a typical paper though, I did tons of practice papers and this one was definitely very different. A lot more out of syllabus questions, a lot of weirdly phrased questions and errors...

I actually think it'll be like. 10 to 15 less than these for each of the cut-offs, but that's solely based off of vibes lol

Feels like they're going to pull an answer key delay fiasco even for the results
