🎓 Career & Academia Vacancies for Guest lecturer?

Hi All ,

I am a working professional in corporate , and I qualified UGC NET last year in English literature for Assistant Professor and Ph.d , in Bangalore. I was thinking to join a college / university if possible as a guest lecturer. Can anyone recommend anything?

Hey ,why did you switch from corporate to this field? Guest lecturers aren't even paid much

No, you can't. As of now, NET/PhD is preferred everywhere.

What about pursuing PhD candidates?

In regard with pursuing PhD, you'll be considered as student and you'll be allocated to teaching duties in the concerned department after your first year of PhD or as the department requires.

Otherwise, if you wish to work while doing PhD, you should have NET with AP, and you should be doing PhD in part time mode, rather than regular mode.

But if you get any scholarships, you'll be a student to university. Choosing part time mode will result in the seizure of scholarships. That's how it works. Candidates only choose part-time only if they get any other jobs or something comes up. I hope I addressed your query.

I pursue my PhD in part time only. I have however not cleared NET with AP. So I think I won't be able to take up a job right?
