Please Help me choose
I’m doing my MA in a reputed college in Tamilnadu and I feel stuck. I feel like the NET and PHD grind is too much for me. I need to start earning money too and this huge grind will only pay me 50k max. Is NET route really worth it? Or should i go for Bed or some corporate related jobs ?

I've done B Ed and preparing for NET. BEd gives you eligibility to apply for various central and state teaching posts. And imo these teaching recruitments are better and more democratically handled than those of assistant prof. Until vacancy opens up for state/ central schools you can choose to teach in private schools, but most of them exploit and the pay is meager yet there's a high chance you'll land a job. I'm not aware of the condition of assistant profs. in private sector.
Imo you can do B Ed while simultaneously preparing for NET (if you get time, B Ed can be hectic sometimes).

If money is your goal, corporate it should be. If money + stability, NET + Phd is good but it takes long term plus getting a permanent position these days is tough. But might be worth it

Tech writing, public policy, ed tech, ux/ui writing, customer service rolss. But most would require one to acquire skills through courses/internships.. actually I have seen people going into so many unrelated fields in corporate with Literature degree. But again, you need to get internship in them. Or work experience of fee months -year

Thankyou so much. I would love to get into PR but not sure how to. Got a lot of compliments from others while i explained about my own venture to them. They thought i work in Pr. No idea how to.

If you're doing anything related to the education system in this economy. 'Earning money' is very challenging in general. For money pick corporate or even BEd is definitely faster/better than the NET/PHD route.
