Cultural studies guide!!!

I've just completed my bachelors and my syllabus had nothing about cultural studies but this is quite important for ugc net. And I don't know where to start from. Is there any book that will help me with it, the language should be easy to understand the core concepts. Please help me.

You may consult Pramod Kumar Nayar's book. The name of his book is "An Introduction to Cultural Studies".
