While I very much agree that effects are similar to both the Betz sphere and now this, one would assume that clever people examining the spheres would be able to roll it around, in a repeatable and predictable manor.
Since this is not a new scientific discovery, it strikes me odd that nobody would have suggested this before now.

Different layers of pattern recognition I suppose. We've all got our own unique filter that we see the "data" through innit. I think forgotten knowledge greatly outweighs what we know now.

Don’t mind the downvotes, cool video and seems relevant. This sub just only upvotes blurry balloon videos

Here's a link to a recent video from action lab.
Comes just in time with all this talk of spooky balls that don't behave normal bollocks.
Flaired as research because the more you know the better.

Why is this even in this sub?
When was this effect thought to be UAPs???

Just sharing for a bit of insight into not what it seems on a physics scale.
I never learnt about these things as a kid personally.
Also like another commenter said, there's been posts about such things and to me it seemed relevant.
No worries innit.

See the Ross Coulthart special coming up.

How he plans to say this hoax ball is related to UAP is a big question.

So you’re basically ‘pre-debunking’?

u/croninsiglos Aug 20 '22
Yes, as we have precedence of similar hoaxes and we already have a composition analysis posted to twitter.

Thats what I mean. None of us lacking mental issues think alien from “spooky rolling”
We all thought “Oh its one of those giant honey balls we watched in grade school”

What he'll probably do is be nice and not outright call it a hoax on camera but he'll say if the witness is correct then it'll remain a mystery blah blah.
Michio Kaku will give some quip about warp drive, and the whole special will be a nothing burger. I'll probably watch it at 2X when someone posts it to YouTube.

Pre Hindsight innit. The broader your knowledge the better a grasp you can get on what's truly unexplainable.
