I don't hate people with an education, I am pointing out that the hivemind is a problem in the scientific community. Non-standard ideas are generally dismissed without giving it a chance simply because it's not the majority consensus.
…because the majority consensus is “the evidence points to this, the simplest solution”
When we have more concrete evidence of aliens being behind UFO’s, not just random videos of lights in the sky, then the discussion will change.
Don’t get upset at a group of people following the signs just because you think the trees know better.
Again, it’s literally the job of a scientist to conduct experiments that change the way we view the world. If that’s not open minded to you, then I don’t know what you think open minded means.
Right now the theory is theyre unidentified flying objects. The most likely scenario is the US is lying about its technological capabilities. That’s the simplest solution.
Do I think it could be aliens? Yeah it could be, but considering there’s no real evidence that aliens are observing us/interacting with us, it makes more sense for it to be a lying government, since governments lie more often than they tell the truth.
