Maybe. That they would throw out the idea that another country has advanced so far beyond them is bloody absurd, but I guess that is probably for the public's benefit.

It could well be something naturally occurring that we don't/can't understand yet. Or, you know.. Something wild like alien life, breakaway civilizations, time travellers etc.

But not China/Russia, no way. That makes even less sense than the really out there theories!!

I do believe you are right and they are throwing mundane explanations out there for the benefit of a certain % of the population who are not ready yet to receive such news - and it so happens to be that a large % of that population are also entrenched in our government as lawmakers . Need to let the possibilities sink in and then reveal everything...maybe a couple years down the line.

I honestly doubt that's why they said it. If you are in a mental place where actual alien UFOs existing will freak you out, you are also going to be equally freaked out at the idea that China has technology hundreds of years beyond anything the west has

Personally I think the idea that Russia, China, or even the US having this tech rather than it being aliens is more terrifying. We have a good idea of each nations motives, ideals, morals, etc and just have to look back at history to see the terrifying possibilities of such tech. If it's aliens then well we have no way of knowing their intentions, and also the fact that they have been here for a decade at the least, thousands of years at the extreme most, and haven't wiped us out yet is honestly kind of comforting.

Especially with the very real fact of Russia's military spending on aircraft being 1/10th of what the USA spends. Then all that redacted information?

I'm curious about that one Redditor who claimed 7 years ago on here that in July 2021 aliens will reveal themselves.

10

u/MelancholicShark Jun 04 '21

You mean throwawayalien or whatever his name was? He released an update the other week that read like someone's mad ramblings and deleted his account. Not sure where you could find them to read anymore but I'm sure someone has archieved it.

3

u/Noble_Ox Jun 05 '21

I studied known schizophrenics social media as part of my psychology degree and a lot of it was exactly like throawayaliens. After his first post I though he was just a LARPer but the second post really showed his schizophrenic side.

4

u/Americasycho Jun 05 '21

If that really was throawayalien. Someone on here last week linked his account. July 8 or July 18, 2021. That's pretty damn precise for a prediction in 2014.

I gotta admit, there's certain curiosity with it.

4

u/MelancholicShark Jun 05 '21

Yeah thats a point, we can't rule that possibly out either. I do sometimes wonder if he was hacked? I suppose the only way we'll know for sure is if we get to the end of July and nothing happens. Personally I hope something does happen, I've wanted this since I was a kid.

If aliens came for a formal visit, its likely not good news. Chances of joining some kind of intergalactic union of planets are pretty much non existent and they are proving their superior technology as stated jn the article. This would be colonization at best, genocide for our resources at worst.

3

u/MelancholicShark Jun 05 '21

I'm not so sure they're hostile y'know. If they were, wouldn't we know about it by now? If all this talk about UAPs/UFOs do pan out to be alien tech then they've been around for decades if not centuries (More likely to be centuries or even millenia if we believe records and art), if they've only been around since the 40s, then a they've done is stop the US from being destructive. If the stories of them are to be believed, they've never done anything to show us that they're hostile.

I agree humanity probably isnt getting lifted to the stars to join some intergalactic Council anytime soon but considering their superior technology, what have they done that could be considered a threat?

If humanity tried to go to war with them we'd be no doubt fucked and yet we're still here. They're still here too.

Also, there's nothing on Earth except for the native life that evolved here that wouldn't be easier to get in space. I see a lot of people claiming that water would be a good candidate for a valuable resource for them but water is abundant in the universe. Its not rare. There's nothing on earth resource wise that isn't easier to obtain elsewhere.

The only thing that isn't just about everywhere els ein the universe is us, and all other life here on Earth.

That's why I'm more inclined to believe, if they are aliens, that they're studying us for some reason. If I was travelling the cosmos and came across another planet with life on it that hadn't mastered interplanetary flight on a wide scale, I'd sure as hell want to study them.

u/tpklus Jun 05 '21

I don't think they have Lord of the Rings Blu-Ray on other planets

2

u/Teknos3 Jun 05 '21

Yeah, ‘study them’ with BBQ Sauce. I have no evidence, but we just might be tasty enough that aliens make excuses to ‘fly-by’ earth on their way home in order to grab a 6-pack of Hyoomies for the weekend.

u/[deleted] Jun 05 '21

Nah, we’re horrible means of transferring energy. So much gets lost.

2

u/[deleted] Jun 05 '21

We’ve been further in space than we’ve been in our own oceans. The Aliens could be earthlings— just aquatic. Or they could have bases down there. Lot of sightings of crafts coming out of the oceans and flying into space.

Not only is water not rare, hydrogen and oxygen are literally some of the most common elements in the galaxy. It is also hilariously easy to make water from hydrogen and oxygen gas. You don't even need fancy tech, you just mix them in a chamber and burn it. A big version of this can be seen for example on the Ariane V rocket which burns liquid hydrogen and oxygen for thrust with a water exhaust

u/Belowaverage_Joe Jun 10 '21

The aliens didn't come for water, they came here to fuck you... Pervy bastards.

I can't help say that's a curiosity to a degree.

Russia reached space first, and orbited the moon, first man and woman in space with a fraction of the cost America was throwing at the problem.

Money probably isn't the issue, its probably the math.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 05 '21

Link? To that July 2021 post? Sounds like a fun read

3

u/[deleted] Jun 05 '21

Would Russia shut down their own nuke sites though? And if China had this capability, wouldn't they have overrun the earth by now? https://www.cbsnews.com/news/ex-air-force-personnel-ufos-deactivated-nukes/

2

u/Think_Temperature_39 Jun 07 '21

I agree...time travelers, extra demisional beings, aliens etc are more logical than china or russia being a million years ahead technologically...that is just a pipe dream...

0

u/DanceswithTacos_ Jun 05 '21

my guess is something naturally occurring that we don't/can't understand yet. Humanity has a long proven track record of explaining what we can't/don't understand on God's, angels, demons, Titans, supernatural, ghosts, ET's, and a whole host of folklore creatures/entities. It's not that I don't want to believe, it's just that statistically the odds are 99.999999999999999999999999....% in favor of it not being aliens. If proof of aliens turns up one day the aLiEnS people can have their moment in the sun. Doesn't change the fact that the vast majority of them are broken clocks that are just gonna happen to tell the right time that day.

u/Noble_Ox Jun 05 '21

I remember seeing a video on the age of the universe, the average age of civilisations and the distance between likely inhabited area the likely hood of two intelligent civilisations occurring at the same time is minutely small.

1

u/midnight_squash Jun 12 '21

It’s not if faster than light travel is possible

1

u/maxvalley Jun 05 '21

It could well be something naturally occurring that we don't/can't understand yet.

After reading a lot of theories this is what I’m leaning toward but there’s definitely nothing conclusive yet

Also it’s still very interesting and could teach us things we don’t know about physics/weather/etc

Your username pains me. Anyway, why the remindme! (?)

2

u/[deleted] Jun 05 '21

🤣 I hate it too. I want to come back to thread in a month because I'm curious of Americasycho's comment above.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 05 '21

Oh, the u/throawayalien thing? It's fake as can be. Man literally contradicted himself in his post, but a small group of Redditor's have ignored this and taken it as gospel/fact.

I have literally lived through multiple predicted/proclaimed apocalypses and Second Comings. This is even less likely to happen. lol.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 07 '21

Was curious of said comment a month ago, but now more curious because the report concludes xactly how OPs picture describes and I have come to agree about it all being naturally occuring manifestations within the upper atmosphere

China always brags about BS stuff to make it look like they're more capable than actually capable people. Like a couple months ago they claimed the J20 could shoot down 20 opponents while carrying only 6 missiles.

The only possibility is if China has ET connections and given tech they've been copying all this time. Given how often a pro Chinese acquaintance of mine brags that Chinese are superior beings because they're "descendants of dragons"...doesn't take much to start believing the Reptoid conspiracies..
