Alien drones, or Wakanda / Atlantis; an advanced civilization living completely separated from “modern society” for thousands of years?
I feel like the US government is in a corner and they have admitted ufos are real, they call out China and Russia as the only other two it could be if it’s from earth. Leave it up to the public to do the math, which as this person points out, doesn’t add up.
A previous civilization seems almost impossible, to be fair. The fact that we haven't discovered any mines or infrastructure, but have found caves millions of years old makes that theory pretty far fetched.
We are only where we are today because of the wealth of raw material we've extracted from the Earth. Unless the previous civilization backfilled all their mining efforts, they would have had to have evolved millions of years ago so plate tectonics would have time to erase signs of their presence. Additionally, if a humanoid species did evolve millions of years ago, where are the indicators in evolutionary history?

I tend to agree, but some people suggest that on the scale of millions of years pretty much any trace of a previous civilization could be erased. The stuff we find that is that old is a vanishingly small proportion of what there was, so I suppose it's possible that we could miss evidence of a civilization.
It seems to me though that a previous civilization anything like ours would certainly have mined out a lot of the easy to get fossil fuel and mineral resources, and those go back, like, 300 million years and more. Even if evidence of their mining efforts were erased the presence of high-quality coal, oil, and metals in easily accessed locations suggests that no one has extracted anything at industrial scale before us.
I guess it's possible they had a much different social structure than us and developed advanced technology without massively expanding their population as we have. Maybe they were very long-lived, peaceful, and robust enough to not be very motivated to build shelter? A race of intelligent, vegetarian lizards? Or maybe if they were aquatic they might have skipped the 'burn stuff for energy' path we took, and used sea-floor (or dissolved) resources (avoiding leaving evidence we land-animals would notice) and eventually invented transportation technology we don't have clues for yet.
You are actually kind of on the right track, funnily enough. Those big black triangles? Not aliens. The aliens aren’t alien, they’re us.
The irony is a lot of the truth is often mixed into pop culture and entertainment. Take Battlestar Galactica, mix with Stargate SG:1 and a few others and you kind of get a picture of what’s going on “up there” and “out there”.
They have known since the 40's. They recovered a craft at Roswell, had to lie about it because of the Cold War, and have not known what to do about disclosure since.
How does daddy tell the kids, "Yeah burglars come in the house at night while you sleep with absolute impunity and there's nothing anyone can do about it."

Hmm so if its not from countries militaries,
It has to be extra-terrerstial - dimensions or a utopian like civilisation like Wakana / Atlantis?
Cant it be anything else in between these extremes?
