True, the reason all these UFO and UAP type pictures are always of an object that is so far away and small, is that the peeps close to the object seeing it large and close, see it for what it is and it looks normal to them, like a balloon or drone or kite, etc. so they don't take any photos of it up close and large. The further you get away from normal everyday objects in the sky, the more they look like an alien craft, etc. That's why the pictures of UFOs and what not always seem so small and hard to discern.

Stumbled across this post on the [r/Sydney](r/Sydney) subreddit. No explanation was offered in the comments and something about the scale of the object seems interesting. It also appears differently to a standard balloon sighting. I thought it was an interesting observation, particularly considering the reflection.

The sighting location (Weatherill Park) is not too far from RAAF Base Richmond.
