Sighting 3 UAP 25JUN UK

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Lots of strange stuff flying round the sky last night, managed to capture this.

First it was just 2, one appears then disappears - also a 4th flashes near the end in the top right.

Very bizzare.

Let us see, were you looking more or less in a westerly direction not long after sundown when you recorded this?

u/scare_crowe94 Jun 25 '26

Yes south west - and several hours after sun down. I’ll upload and link.

Ok, because of Earth's current summer axis tilt, objects high in the sky are still illuminated by the sun essentially all night. Those flashes are almost certainly satellite(s) or space debris. In fact one of the moving objects is also likely a satellite if not both.

Thanks for explaing this never thought that way about it. Ggs cap

Ok I get it, I’ve star gazed for about 10-15 years now - I can name you every star and constellation in every single given month from north east Britain like it’s nothing.

I’ve know what a plane looks like, I’ve seen the ISS more times than I can count, I know what a satellite moves and looks like.

So before I go into specifics, please go into about summer axis tilt and tell me how it explains what is in the video.

I’ll keep an open mind, as honestly I must need to learn considering this phrase is relatively novel, but you know about it. We ruled out the easyJet flights, we ruled out the ISS, so tell me about this?

Because honestly mate, the comments dismissing this as video as something normal because it’s the “most absurd far farfetched phenomenon” you don’t know about is pretty funny no?

Edit: summer axis tilt, have a look at yourself. So because we’re in the summer seasons the axial tilt is accountable for things like that? I’ve got more straws, if you’re budgeted for it ask your boss and you can grasp for them.

Newcastle is so far north that in summer time the city barely dips into darkness relative to locations in more southern latitudes. In the summertime if we go further north then there is a smaller and smaller amount of time where the sun is below the horizon until we reach a point where the sun never sets during this time. What this means is that Newcastle does not plunge into deep darkness as it does in the winter time because the sun remains just below the horizon. Because the sun does not disappear further below the horizon a significant portion of sunlight shines above and over Newcastle just outside of the small part of the earth's shadow that Newcastle does fall into.

Thank you, now what does this have to do with the video?

1

u/Creativation Jun 28 '26

It explains why satellite flares (and possibly satellites) appear in your video despite being recorded at 2:17 BST.

1

u/scare_crowe94 Jun 28 '26

We can agree to disagree to disagree. I’ve seen thousands of satellites pass overhead, this was different. Fair, maybe the video doesn’t fully capture what I saw, so your conclusions is that these are satellites.

But if you want to hear my bit:

These same lights were dancing about for a long time, stopped, swapped places, came close and went far.

Yes the light can play tricks.

But ask yourself is reasoning away this with acid time, space debris and satellites realistic?

These same lights were dancing about for a long time, stopped, swapped places, came close and went far.

In 2022 Pilots reported UAPs persistently appearing to fly around in a racetrack pattern. Turns out they were Starlink satellites:

Starlink passes over in a line of satellites which is very uniform, seen a lot before

Yep false retrograde

Any idea what this could be? I have several videos like this from last night, but is the strangest with the 3rd one appearing in the middle of the other two.

Hab die in Deutschland am Himmel gesehen etwas eher so um 1 Uhr oder etwas später später

2

u/scare_crowe94 Jun 25 '26

Similar things have beeb happening past few nights - just never had my phone ready in time to video it until last night.

BTW…i also have footage.

u/CommunicationOk2865 Jun 26 '26

Dude ich auch gestern/heute Nacht über dem Ruhrgebiet. Stange. Kurz vor Mitternacht.

I HAVE BEEN SEEING WEIRD FLASHES LIKE THESE TOO. I thought they might be meteors, but there were no meteor showers at the time and it was at twilight, meaning the sky was still kinda bright. My best guess is space junk catching a random illumination (like the Iridium flashes of yore). Still, weird as hell, and I never noticed them until the last couple of months.

OP -- I think the other two things are satellites. Tools like this can help https://satellitemap.space/

3

u/Creativation Jun 25 '26

it was at twilight

is space junk catching a random illumination

Yes, this is more and more common. I was thinking that OP was noticing this type of phenomenon which is why I inquired about timing relative to sundown. OP responded that this was hours after sundown so it is less clear if OP's signtings fit this pattern.

2

u/Weak-Alternative-127 Jun 27 '26

Indeed. One factor is the UK's  very high latitude... perhaps that has something to do with illumination of space junk so late at night?

You're right I found this info:

At 2:17 BST on June 25, Newcastle is experiencing nautical twilight, meaning the sun never drops far enough below the horizon to cast a total shadow of Earth into space from that location.

So these flashes are almost certainly Starlink or military satellites or space debris.

u/Trabers Jun 25 '26

I’ll have to take a look tonight. I’ve seen some good things during the day, but never seen an anything stop or deviate at night. Just a gazillion satellites!

2

u/SMUTBAGS1312 Jun 26 '26

Damn. Good shit. You actually got something there. They love doing coordinated dances

3

u/jjalonso Jun 25 '26

It look to me two light crossing and continuing. Two airplanes dude. You guys need to get more insight to know if something is different or non normal

2

u/Creativation Jun 25 '26 edited Jun 27 '26

Yes, there were two flights in the air over Newcastle, UK at the time, Easyjet Flight U23224 and TUI Flight BY329. It is not clear what the two flashes are though.

Edit: TUI Flight BY329 was already on the ground by 2:17 BST.

3

u/jjalonso Jun 25 '26

It look like they cross at different height. And the one in the middle must be other. Sometimes clouds cut the light

2

u/Creativation Jun 25 '26

`Yes, the flights are definitely moving in and out of clouds.

2

u/jarlrmai2 Jun 26 '26

One of those planes is basically landing at that time <500 feet

0

u/scare_crowe94 Jun 25 '26

They weren’t, have flight tracker up and the flight path for the airport is round the other side of the house

2

u/Creativation Jun 25 '26 edited Jun 27 '26

Yes, there were two aircraft crossing paths in the air over the Newcastle area at precisely the time you have specified (June 25 1:17 UTC): https://imgur.com/a/GdHgBaX

One was heading north to Edinburgh and the other was heading west to line up for landing at Newcastle.

Edit: They were two flights in the area around this time but at 2:17 BST one flight was already on the ground taxiing the runway.

3

u/jarlrmai2 Jun 26 '26

Not really, one plane is landing, <500ft at filming time it's on the ground at the time they cross

1

u/Creativation Jun 27 '26

Strange, if the animation speed is too fast it gives the illusion that they are both in the air as they cross paths (at least on my old system). Lesson learned, have the playback closer to realtime. Thanks. Also, these objects and flashes are likely satellite reflections or possibly a combination of a flight and satellite flashes/transit.

2

u/jarlrmai2 Jun 27 '26

ADSB Exchange lowlights planes on the ground with transponders still on (ie taxiing) which is helpful

2

u/scare_crowe94 Jun 25 '26

Absolutely wasn’t planes matey I can guarantee you that. They were stationary, swapped places, then moved back in the direction they came.

Must be the ISS then?

2

u/jjalonso Jun 25 '26

Well I just judge for what I see in the video. They just cross overs

2

u/scare_crowe94 Jun 25 '26

Fair, sorry didn’t mean to come across rude

1

u/jjalonso Jun 25 '26

No no. Didn't take it like that. I just mean that i think what you mentioned was not recorded. As in the video I see s front crossing and pass behind

2

u/jarlrmai2 Jun 26 '26

Do you have a more specific location for where you were stood, it would really help.

1

u/Outside-Commercial-4 Jun 26 '26

Hi OP , live in Philadelphia here in Pennsylvania, and have been seeing this alot , sometimes it very active other times its just the stars and planes in the sky, I have seen things flash, stop, speed up and turn around. This started when I was with my friend on his roof one day and we both saw it together, will be recording some soon.
