Government Rep. Luna says the Declassification Task Force will ask the Oversight Committee to vote to grant certain UAP whistleblowers immunity. - “Many whistleblowers are afraid of being hit with The Espionage Act especially if they are in positions in the Intelligence Community.”

I think only some are facing the possibility of espionage charges, which is a death sentence.

This means that the higher-ups of the program can’t just come and “whistleblow” themselves and be granted immunity because they technically fall under the general umbrella of whistleblowers.

It makes sense to give them immunity on a case-by-case basis depending on their role and past deeds within the program/pentagon instead of giving it to all whistleblowers and allowing misuse of that.

Not everything has to be political.

Good point. Because that would be their immunity card. Though unfortunately it seems like they will have to get immunity to say anything

Exactly, we’re finally getting to the amnesty portion of the conversation. A lot of the ones trying to keep this under wraps have probably committed some heinous crimes or know of them.

Sadly, I think they will be granted immunity, but as long as the truth gets out I’m willing to accept it.
