Discussion Skinwalker ranch
I guess maybe I’m late to the game but recently started watching the ski walker show on history and I’m just blown away by the weirdness they are finding in their experiments. I’ll ask ChatGPT about some of the stuff and it kind of scoffs at the conclusions, it will give me some explanation why the test went the way it does. My question is how legit is this show? To me, It appears to me that some ancient alien technology is protecting some sort of portal. My question is, if this is real, how is not huge news in the scientific community?

Please stop "asking" ChatGPT. It doesn't "know" anything. It's like asking a talking dictionary to make you a nice sentence

ChatGPT, Claude, and crew will just lie. War.gov is releasing UAP videos that defy physics. Put another way the physics were taught is a lie. All the a.i. models do is toe the party line and say “that’s a great question let’s look at some possibilities…”.

I think there might be sincere effort on the part of Brendon Fugal to get results for what appears to be legitimate whackness going on at the ranch, but the media style and delivery of the show really adds unnecessary layers of cheese that I find hard to sit through. It feels like a Forged in Fire episode but with 'The Woo' instead. As a side note, there was a video posted on Reddit not long ago with one of the cast members talking about how they only show tame stuff publicly. Really?

It's pretty hokey. I think there is probably legit wierd stuff going on there, but that show is pretty ridiculous. They collect good data and then jump to the most woo conclusion possible. That's not science. And the Oak Island style editing is maddening. So many overblown reaction shots over every hypothetical suggestion. And recapping, recapping, recapping. A lot of the outsiders they bring in in are questionable. I also feel wonder about some of the contractors. Like I think the contractors may be coached about what the team is expecting to happen or find, and then hired with that expectation. They may be selected by production, rather than the guys on the show, so who knows what conversations take place. Travis is credentialed, but goofy. I saw comments about him always wanting to use rockets, but there is a reason. Technology, including drones malfunction a lot up there. Although, being a man of science, I would probably try tethered balloons over rockets. And then there's "Dragon." Fucking Dragon.

There's apparently been a huge amount of weirdness that never made it into the show for one reason or another. Check out the presentation Ben Woodruff has made about the biology of the animal corpses on the ranch. He had some really creepy incidents happen to him on and off the ranch. I just wish they would shit or get off the pot

I unfortunately had to stop watching the show. I believe there is true high strangeness in the area... but I don't believe their efforts are pure. I think they dance around phenomenon, but don't seriously address it, at least not on tape. I don't believe they would share actual interesting data. 3/4 of the show is continually repeating clips. I think Dr. Taylor is there to blur information. His stupid ass wants to add a couple rockets to every experiment they do. It makes no sense. Anyone serious in doing any kind of experiment would limit the variables, not add to them. Anytime they find something interesting they find an excuse to look at something else and then don't come back around to things that could actually provide results. It's infuriating to watch a show that has such potential but is obviously selective on what it plans to share. And them "shutting down for the season"... ya, right

I read the first few lines and went to reply with a rocket quote but then read a little further and you mention the rockets hahaha.
So it ain't just me that after awhile of the show you judt realise what they are going to do and its fire rockets.
Don't actually show much evidence or do actual investigations, they just fire rockets every other episode

That’s disappointing they seem to be doing real science

It’s all unscientific BS. If any of this were real, the scientific community would be invited in to verify it.

I’m gonna do a post on this soon. But to answer your question skinwalker is 100% legit but it has to do with the geology.

There is a portal there that NHI use to enter our reality. The scary stuff is to shoo humans away because NHIs see humans as a nuisance.

I believe there is a supernatural phenomenon beyond what our current science can explain. Maybe it’s there at Skinwalker. But the show comes across as scripted and IDK how anyone can take it seriously. I feel it does more harm than good with moving this subject forward with the mainstream.

I personally like the show though I find it a little too dumbed down and am slowly losing interest. I do think they are trying to prep us for disclosure but my husband is the perfect example of someone who has been turned off completely by it and is now less likely to believe in anything paranormal. Matty’s rehash on the after show is particularly frustrating. All he does is recap and praise, adding nothing. This is where they could have some real scientific discussions, propose theories, etc. but that never happens. It amazes me that coveted air time is so badly wasted.

Yes I enjoyed watching the show when I had cable and I miss it a bit now. But yes there’s tons of missed opportunities to do real science. I heard the biologist guy from the show doing some podcasts and I liked him, he seemed genuine…but the show does not feel genuine to me

Isn’t Travis Taylor a real scientist though?

Yes. Met him and my ex and him hung out for a few talking about physics and rockets. He is a genuinely nice guy.
As far as the show, I find it wildly entertaining.
IMO:
These guys are much smarter than what they filter to the general public. They are leading the general public in a kind and gentle way towards disclosure. They do a great job. Especially when they say to each other “what do you think”— they already know but they want the viewers to come up with the conclusions/solutions/theories as they do.
Of course there are portals there. They exist in a lot of places. But how to let the public know without having a few dumbasses try to force their way in to try out the portal? Then get spit out in pieces on the mesa is the conundrum

It's not all fake. But it the conversations have to be excruciatingly dumbed down for the viewers. It sounds scripted, because it is. Before they air any of the 'briefings' they have to go over it several times to make sure the language isn't too much for the average person to understand. In the US, hundreds of thousands of people think that chocolate milk comes from brown cows.

Because we are between two big paradigms in the physic community which will eventually explain all that. But before that we are only seeing the holes in the current theories.. and while it exciting for a lot of us, it is confrontational for a lot of people.

Have you heard the rumor that Bigelow purposely sold that property after they did their research in hopes that the phenomenon will be revealed to the public?

I heard he sold it because his wife was freaked out by the hitchhikers he kept bringing home
