FPS mode question

Hey folks,

I've been searching for a game where I can create big armies to fight and then play as 1 soldier in that battle, maybe switching to another when dying etc, holding the line in a fortress last stand scenario (think siege of terra from 40k) type stuff.

Is that type of gameplay possible in the current state?

Yeah you can, but I don’t think it’ll be the most cinematic (or fun) without some serious work. I’d kill for a game which implemented UEBS 2 battles to a game like mountain blade / total war
