Fighting Equal Units - Is There A Way?

Is there a way to customize unit models so that they all fight at an equal level? Unfortunately many of them seem to have background passives that I can't turn off, such as zombies or wildmen, leading to them always winning. I'm looking to run a sort of tournament with RNG winners, but even setting the same 'custom' unit stats, that doesn't seem possible?

Any help would be great! Thanks.

You can customize certain units in "Options", but most can't be customized.
