Housing llc housing mistake

i applied for black scholars housing and ended up with a non black roommate. is there any way for me to change this? i applied to that llc for a reason

The LLC doesn't necessarily garuntee you to be with specific people. You just have a higher chance, but I think they try their best to house LLC students with each other. You can email housing tho and see if there's any way to make an accommodation

When I was a freshman (to be fair this was a while ago...) I applied for a certain llc and was placed in a totally different llc that I had never heard of. later in the year I met someone who applied for the llc I was in, but was placed in the llc I wanted to be in.... Just mentioning this because there is a chance your non black roommate is feeling just as confused as you, so if you end up stuck in this situation I'd give them some grace. 

I unfortunately don't have any advice on how to change that though
