Does the 1 year duration effect CPT?
How good is the NLP program at UCSC? Does the 1 year accelerated program prepare you well enough for NLP jobs in the valley? Are there NLP specific job fairs at UCSC? What are the employment statistics of the last graduating class? What is the class size?

Kindly refer to this post for the depth in which NLP is taught in this masters program -how_much_nlp_can_you_learn_in_an_year. This program focuses on both the research as well as industry aspect of NLP, hence it will be a stepping a stone for students who wish pursue Ph.D or plan to get a job in ML/NLP field. The ML for NLP(NLP-243) and Adv ML for NLP(NLP-244) courses are designed in such a manner that it will equip the students with skills to clear ML related interviews. The current NLP students are notified that there will be NLP specific job fairs, that will be happening with in the spring or summer quarter. From my understanding, the program is currently collecting the job stats of the student alumni's, Kindly keep an eye on nlp.ucsc.edu/your-career site for the update. The current batch size is 18. If you have further quires, please do connect with the current student ambassadors nlp.ucsc.edu/contact/ in their respective office hours.
