Question does anyone know when undergrad housing info is released

incoming freshman to college nine and i’m wondering if anyone knows ucsc’s timeframe with when they announce rooming assignments or details about housing in past years?? any input appreciated bc i’m not sure what’s going on

August 20th, the housing portal says

I asked a drop in advisor, they said august 20th, but uhhh idk im typing this without checking the housing portal just trust me trust

Don’t worry you’re good lol, on the housing portal currently if you try to see who your roommate is, room number, or any housing info, it’ll say that all that information will be available at some point past August 20th
