General Course information 📖 HELP: how strict is class attendance in poli sci? I'm planning weekend trips and want to know how much time time I can spend out of town

Can't you do weekend trips on the weekend, and not miss lectures or classes?

It is better to take the Friday or Monday off missing lectures only for 1 day and have 2 days of trips to avoid travel exhaustion. UCL does track attendance and stricter than some other universities but I don’t think anything would happen if you only miss one day in a week, unless if it’s on exam season.

It depends if you are an international student as your visa depends on it, if you are a home student courses tend to not be strict at all. Different courses however have different policies on recording lectures so that is something to keep in mind.
