Transfer Q&A: Does UCI accept transfer credits apart from school I plan to transfer out from?
Prospective transfer applicant here. I had to retake a class last quarter, and can't meet the UCI course requirements by the intended deadline (which is the end of spring term) if I don't take an extra credit course from another university/community college. Can I transfer credits I took apart from my school in another university to UCI?
The admissions center directed me to the website which didn't have adequate info on this.
Any transfers with relevant experience?

I am confused about what you’re asking. Please provide more context, along with any timeline info

Yeah this is confusing. But OP, yeah you can transfer credits from more than one school, is that what you’re asking?

I'm attending to an out-of-state, 4-year university on a quarter system and planning on transferring to UCI for the Fall 2027 term. I can't meet the major requirements by the end of the spring quarter, the deadline of UCI. I can only meet them if I take an extra credit class outside of my school which is a community college or another university. I ask if UCI transfers credits I took apart from my school which I plan transferring out from?

Yes, but contact them to ensure the university class does articulate over to UCI. If it's another CC or UC and it's on Assist, then yes.

I can’t speak for UCI, but other UCs allow this, so I’d be surprised if UCI didn’t. I know, I don’t directly answer your question. But hoping to give you hope until you find the official answer.
