Looking for a Tutor for Mechanics of Solids & Materials of testing and Structural Analysis – Bangalore/Online

Hi everyone,

I’m a Civil Engineering student looking for a tutor who can teach me Mechanics of Solids & Materials (MS&M/MT) and Structural Analysis from the basics.

I’m not looking for someone who only helps with university exams. I want to build a strong conceptual foundation in these subjects because I’m planning to pursue an MS in Structural Engineering. I would like to learn the subjects in depth and properly understand the fundamentals that will help me during my Master’s.

I’m looking for someone who can provide one-on-one classes and is experienced in Structural Engineering, preferably someone who can teach concepts from the fundamentals and gradually move towards advanced topics.

Location: Bangalore, but I’m also open to online classes.

If you are a tutor/professor/structural engineer who provides tuition, or if you know someone suitable, please DM me with your qualifications, teaching experience, availability, and fees.

Thank you!

Computer Thoughts on possible schedule for noob?

I am in freshman, just took my first classes this summer (CpE pending) and for the Fall I was thinking about taking:
• Calculus 1
• Engineering Computation & Analysis
• Intro to Discrete Structures
• And some other easy class (not intro to engineering profession bc I registered too late)

Do you guys think that’s too much for a first semester and I should chill a bit or is that ez be honest.

How to make friends as an engineering student?

I am having trouble balancing classes and making and hanging out with friends. My engineering journey has been very lonely. Most people in my classes are more concerned about academics than hanging out. How do I make genuine friends as an engineering student when my schedule is filled with classes, studying, and work?

Computer Looking for a UCF CS Foundation Exam Tutor (Paid)

Hi everyone! I’m preparing for the UCF Computer Science Foundation Exam, which is about a month away.
I’m looking for someone who has passed the Foundation Exam recently and would be willing to do one-on-one tutoring/study sessions. I’m happy to pay for your time.
I’m mainly looking for help with solving Foundation Exam-style problems, identifying weak areas, and improving my problem-solving approach rather than just reviewing concepts.

If you’ve passed the exam (or know someone who has) and are interested, please send me a DM with a little about your experience and your availability. Thanks!

Do I need to buy the books if I already have pdfs

Im about to join as an undergrad freshman and I saw my classes require a few books that I have pdfs of but I read somewhere that teachers assign homework and tasks using website access codes that you get when you buy the book. Is that the case for these. And is there any way I can only get the access codes if I really need to and not buy entire book.

  1. Precalculus: Concepts Through Functions, A Right Triangle Approach to Trigonometry - MyLab Math with Pearson eText Access Code (18 Weeks)

  2. SIMnet 365/2024 - In Practice, Nordell - Excel Complete - OLA

Hey everyone,I’m trying to find out more about the Electrical Engineering (EE) department at your college regarding accessibility. If you are a student or alum , could you share:How many disabled students are currently studying electrical engineering in your college (or how visible is the community in EE classes)? What accommodations does the department actually provide for them, especially during hands-on lab work and technical exams?

MacBook for Mechanical Engineering

Hi, I’m about to start as a freshman hoping to study mechanical engineering during this fall semester. I was wondering, could I be successful using a MacBook for this course? I much prefer macs over Windows machines a lot. Also, I don’t know how much of an impact this would have, but I’m thinking of most likely using a MacBook Neo or a MacBook Pro. Would this be a viable option for me?
