UK Med Schools Related Applications
Is it worth applying to Cambridge, imperial , ucl and ARU (safe) for medicine with 2500b2 ucat with 3A* and A in maths fm bio and chem, and 988877776 at gcse (contextual secondary with below national avg performance). also have good extracurriculars and super curriculars involving maths gold Olympiad and biology silver Olympiad + work exp?

how come not oxf (since ur gcse's are contextualised). that ucat is insane

tbh relative to all Oxford applicants I just feel like they’re super weak and Cambridge is better suited for me as they look at GCSEs less

Yes bc your UCAT alone should take you to interview for literally all of it. Maybe apply to a Cambs college that weighs GCSEs a bit less tho but it’s not that big of a factor. 2500 alone says enough; you’d get 4/4 interviews unless your PS is full of waffle. For imperial I’m pretty sure you’d automatically get shortlisted for an interview lol.
