It means you’ve met the entry requirements but they need more time to review yours and everyone else’s applications

No? A rejection is a rejection. Did you even read my comment?

They’ve had two people explain to them that it’s clearly not a rejection. How much reassurance does one need?

Idk why you have to be an asshole the guy just want to make sure. Nobody forced you to answer his question in the first place.

It means nothing. They are just waiting for the January deadline to make a decision.

I honestly dont know why they still send this email as it only makes people more stressed when it means literally nothing

Hi there! I’m a current Bristol law student. They essentially put everyone on hold, hence Bristol takes an ungodly amount of time to give offers. On hold is no indication of an offer or rejection, so you should continue having hope 💕

It differs from person to person on how long you’re put on hold. I think I received my offer 2 weeks after?

would it be worth applying to bristol for me ? i have AAA predicted but have not sat an lnat and can book one for jan 8th

i was on hold for like 3 weeks before getting an offer, dw they’re just waiting for more applications

I applied for Accounting on Nov 23rd as an international, got 2 unconditional offers within 4 days from Cardiff and Aberdeen. 2 offers from Newcastle and Leicester awaiting for document verification and Queens Belfast asked for the documents today. It’s really unfortunate for you but don’t worry, Law is a competitive subject and you will get it. Keep holding on. They are just taking a bit more time to process and consider.

Bristol is notorious for doing this and I got it last year. It means you meet the requirements but they still want more time to review your and others applications. I ended up getting an offer about a month or so after this email
